The headlines
- 148 make it to Sunday out of 817 entrants.
- Pure Dragapult converts extremely well: 38 pilots out of 125, 30.4%.
- A nine-player Top Cut with an asymmetric match: the same format we will see at Louisville.
Saturday
Welcome, trainers. Brisbane is small but ruthless: fewer than one player in five advances. Saturday already tells the story of the weekend, because the pure dragon carries through almost a third of its pilots. On Sunday, six of the eight Top 8 players will be on Dragapult.
Mew ex appears in just 9 Day 2 lists. The sources do not report the number of Saturday rounds or the leaders after the first day.
